Thanks for the quick response. Very Happy

I should have mentioned that I tried this after searching your forums. After I copied it into the lms_beta035 folder, I made my changes, saved and started the server. It seemed to load the mapcycle.scriptcfg in the pk file anyway. Iím running the server under Linux if that matters. Am I supposed to put something in the startup command? Maybe I didnít edit the file properly? Is there any guide or example on how to do this?

Thanks again.

The filename must be mapcycle.scriptcfg for it to work properly. I know that in Windows some programs will add on an extra .txt to the filename (ie. mapcycle.scriptcfg.txt) and that will not work. Not sure if that happens on Linux. Verify that you have the correct filename and that it is in the lms_beta035 folder and it should work.

Are you running it on a seperate user? Make sure it has the proper read and write properties. Also, making it executable couldn't hurt. In addition, if you have spaces or anything upper case in your path to your doom 3 folder, you need to put fs_caseSensitiveOS "0" somewhere in your server.cfg Take a look at the lmsmodserver.cfg and spcoopserver.cfg and you'll notice that I enable cheats then disable them. Put the command I just gave you after cheats are enabled and before the cheats disabled because you need cheats enabled to enter that command. You can take a look at the mapcycle.scriptcfg that is a "patch" to the current mapcycle.script located in the pk4. This you just place in the lmsbeta035 folder. http://lms.d3files.com/mapcycle.scriptcfg

Take care and let me know if you have any more problems. Also, you need to use your server on a different user if you are going to have it run dedicated and also load up doom 3. Two instances of doom 3 on the same user doesn't work. Good luck, hope it goes well.
