You need to be able to apply the settings, in regular Doom 3 there's an apply button, there's no button in LMS. This isn't a problem with resolution... but it is with shadows, etc.

You can't order the servers, It would be pretty nice to be able to.

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. This will help us make sure Beta 0.3 is even more bug free and running smoother. As for the shoulder flashlight, unfortunately it wasn't included because it was causing a lot of problems. We could of delayed the release to work on it but we figured you'd rather have something to play while you waited. Hopefully we can get it working for Beta 0.3 Take care and enjoy the mod Smile

Oh and about the ordering of the servers,we sent them in an e-mail about that recently and they said that will be a feature of the next patch which is supposed to hopefully be coming soon. Take care.

What if you set shadows to off in regular doom 3 then play LMS. Does that work? If not you could try modifying your lms doomconfig file. Take care.

Either lower the chain gun damage, or up the rocket launcher damage. It takes longer to kill most big guys with the RL than it does the CG. I find I usually switch to the CG instead, when normally shouldnt it be the other way around? Also a larger clip wouldnt hurt it either.

LAG it was horrible flashes of maggits in my face then death!

Pritty sure that this is the doom code itself and not your mod, handling lots of things happening on a full server, anything will happen in the lag department!

You mod team members rock at this game you all kick my ass!

Just a few tidbits....

1) Don't include a Doomconfig.cfg with the mod....this really tweaked me up, because my controls/settings are so terribly far from vanilla that it drove me nuts. True, I ended up copying the base/doomconfig.cfg into the lms directory, but it was still a pain. If you just include no doomconfig.cfg, the game copies the one that is in /base

2) Why are you guys using a batch file to launch the mod? I'm not sure how to make a shortcut (aren't they really .lnk files?) to the game. It just feels weird to have that batch file running. Lol.

3) I'm really loving the new hack terminals BEER, but they're a little funky. The main beef I have with them is that they can be activated during a hack (thus, restarting the hack):

Code:
   onAction {
      set "progress::visible" "1";
      set "progress2::visible" "1";
      set "text1::visible" "1";
      resetTime "click" "0";
      set "text::text"   "PDA connection established: UAC-b33rman"
   }

You should be able to just plop a variable in there that tells you it's being hacked, and have the onAction check for that, right?

I *was* having a really weird problem with it activating on mouseover, but it stopped now. Maybe it was just tweaky lag :lol:

4) The mphud.gui is a little funny looking, I really prefer the SP hud for LMS. If you wanted, you can just rip code straight out of hud.gui and put it in there to make it work (weps indicator, clip/reserve indicator, etc. etc.)

That's about it. Love the work guys!
