LMS Features added in 4.0:
* Windows (including the steam version), Mac (intel and PPC) and Linux Compatible
* Over ten new LMS SP Coop easter eggs to find!
* New Map TS_HellPentagram.
* Now features over 80 maps tweaked for Cooperative play!
* Upgraded to the heavily optimized 1.3.1 Classic Doom for Doom 3 Maps
* Heavily Improved New Supermaggot skin! Also new menu and wrench icons.
* Portals added so players don't get left behind on train maps.
* Spawns have been significantly tweaked to reduce or eliminate telefragging.
* Training Simulation maps (TS_) have been updated and fixed.
* Numerous SP Coop tweaks and fixes to optimize your gaming experience.
LMS Features added in 3.5: - to see bugfixes check the bugfixes post
* New LMS theme song!!! Also check the lyrics out in the Doc folder, they rock!
* All of the zombies will now ragdoll
* Faster Map Loading Speeds!
* Lots of SP Coop tweaks including improved spawn points, starting map weapons, and lag tweaks!
* Nine new maps are added from TA_Alucard that are prefixed with TS which stands for Training Simulation. Check them out and let us know what you think!
* Old LMS favorite Prog_Doomship is back with many fixes!
* Colors on players nametags now reflect armor amount.
* Fortcomp has recieved some tweaking!
LMS Features added in 3.0:
* Integration of the Classic Doom for Doom 3 Mod using the Cdoom Coop Gametype
* With all the gametypes considered, LMS now includes nearly 70 maps all fully Co-op supported!
* LMS is Windows, Linux and Mac (PPC) supported!
* A help tab has been added in the main menu
* Stamina re-implemented in SP COOP and ROE COOP gametypes.
* All of the ROE maps are now tweaked for Coop
* The Plasmathrower stream has been updated
* Two new difficulty levels have been added to challenge even the best LMS players, they are si_skill 4 and si_skill 5
* New maps kf_arena and prog_sewer
* New boat model
* Persistent data is fixed so now players retain their weapons when they change levels.
* Map skips are fixed.
* Monsters now also drop items when dying if the server is dedicated.
* Various lag tweaks including some from Quake 4
* Some yummy easter eggs to find in SP Coop :)
Features added in other LMS releases: (This is only a general summary of all the features total that you can find in LMS 3.0, edited for readability)
* LMS Mod features a heavy metal soundtrack featuring music from three different bands from all over the world! It includes the song Last Man Standing specifically written for our mod!
* Inventory and ammo carries over to the nextmap in all game mods except LMS Mod (it isn't applicable)
* All SP Coop maps tweaked and optimized for Coop action
* Features over 20 action packed custom LMS maps!
* Sp Coop maps include waypoints so that if you die you don't need to restart all the way at the beginning
* Player names on clients.
* Scoreboard that keeps track of who is the top scorer during the map. Can be accessed with the V button in SP Coop or tab in LMS Mod
* Scoreboard that keeps track of the highest scorer at the end of the map for all game modes. The server saves the highest scores for that map
* Custom spawnpoints to prevent telefragging
* Several new skins.
* Several new weapons have been added including the double barrel shotgun, plasmathrower (with working monster buring effect), the plasmasniper and wrench.
* Maximum number of players increased to 16.
* Infrared Vision for LMS Mod maps (default key is V)
* The mod now supports the Doom3 expansion pack using our ROE Coop gametype.
* Ragdolls have been added
* Kaiser's maps Tlabs Complex, Refueling Station, and Sigma Quadrant were included and tweaked for coop play
* Plasmathrower given a new sound, new stream, and ignites monsters
* Updates to Radio Tower, including much more intense gameplay and two cinema screens
* KF_Loading_dock tweaked to be more playable
* Over six new monsters were added to the mod including the super maggot, spectre, spectral nimp and more
* Completely rewritten the AI netcode. Reliable messages overflow should be very rare now.
* Music volume now fades to new value properly when using music volume slider.
* Progression maps no longer have a time limit.
* Improved netcode for player entities.
* yeah transparent console with a new background image
* Small bugs in Fortcomp tweaked

Almost 2 years since the last release and still this site sees new *REAL* posts. Just warms my heart! And yes everyone, I still play =) Just wanted to say hi and give everyone in LMS their props. You should be proud for making this mod, it is well earned. The fact that people still use your mod to this day is quite an achievement. |
