Floating weapons ?! I've seen weapons floating / stuck in mid-air when a player dies.

I think that may be caused by players lagging on the server. I have seen this while playing regular multiplayer (DM, team DM) also. Sometimes I will move forward but my arms and weapon don't move with me. Usually it is alright when the client gets in sync with the server or the player times out.

I guess tis would fall under "improvements"...


General idea for a newgameplay:
I was wondering if you could be able to implement an "escort" mission.. The idea was inspired after dicking around in single player where you have the robbot guy follow you around. Prehaps you would have to escort a human/robbot/something mission critcal from point a to point b with a certain amount of health. Along the map their would be "checkpoints" were you can repair the mission critcal being and fill up on ammo/health/armor.

Other stuff consider?:
As difficultie increased the mission critcal being would have less health/armor and maybe some other stuff too? The being should also be given a special gun prehaps with unlimited ammo?

wow holy darn i just had a major idea brain fart hahah enjoy guys

Great idea! It would be kind of like that one part of Doom 3 where you try to protect the guy with the lantern. Would be cool to have a group of friends to help you defend, maybe even some covering the flank, why some went up ahead while one stayed with the dude or something. Sounds very interesting, thanks for the idea! Take care.

ACk no, Iv done one to many stupid escort missions in FPS games to enjoy them. Goldeneye....ugh. Nothing worse then trying not to die only to have the stupid other person eat it and cause you to loose.

i like the escort mission idea, it would be cool for a dark level--then yo wouldnt be able to see all the monsters a mile away
